Kirt Wightman Race and Design Engineer

As a professional fabricator, designer and engineer with nearly 20 years of experience in professional motorsports, Kirt provides a wealth of knowledge, both practical and academic, to the Hyper Sport team. He has built and run race winning cars in the Camel GT Series, Firestone Firehawk, FIA Sports Car and SCCA Trans Am Series. In addition to his efforts on behalf of Hyper Sport, Kirt is a specialist in modern Lotus Cars tuning, modification as well as being the Technical Director for the IMSA-sanctioned Porsche GT3 Cup series.

David Clark Mechanic

Moving to the U.S. over 20 years ago from his native England, David has amassed many years of professional experience on professional sports car teams across the country. As a mechanic at the Panoz Motor Sports team for 7 years, he conquered the 24 Hours of Le Mans five times as well as the Daytona 24 hour event. His experience and attention to detail are his trademarks.

Bill Meyn

Bill has worked for teams in NASCAR, IRL, SCCA, ALMS and most recently Grand-Am with Hyper Sport on a part-time basis. He has embraced almost every job on a race team including, a mechanic, tire specialist, jack-man, fueler, tire changer and strategist. Bill was promoted to “Crew Chief” in 2007 allowing him an opportunity to put his experience and his passion to the test. It was his most successful season as he helped lead the team to finish 2nd in the team owner and driver Championship in the Koni Challenge Series.

Fondly known as the momma of the group; Donna’s formal roll is to train and write meal plans for the drivers.

Raymond Quintero

As Hyper Sport’s keeper of all things explosive, Ray Ray (that’s two) is an experienced and integral part of any race weekend. A high-school calculus teacher by day, Ray Ray makes sure that every Hyper Sport race car has the right gas at the right time as he has done for many professional teams over the years.

Jim Jordan Race Strategist and Mazda Racing Marketing Specialist

Having raced cars since he was 16, Jim has a real passion and love for the art of racing. He is a race car driver himself, has owned his own racing company and has called strategy for many pro teams.
Jim’s fun day at the race is all about monitoring the race, strategizing the win and keeping an eye on what the other teams are doing in their race. He also makes educated guesses on what the team can do to progress in the race and when to pit.
In his regular day job, Jim is a marketing specialist for Mazda USA.
